Music is like catching a glimpse of God to me! It is my preferred art form and has been my life for over 40 years. I hope to grow and perfect DEVOZION in every way. At rehearsals I have a specific sound in my head for each song that I strive towards and want to convey. My plans for the vocal collective include recording, touring and performing my original, tailor-made material. Ultimately, my mission statement is to bless, equip, inspire and encourage.

Charlotte Roel

Founder, director, artist, songwriter, vox coach

Professionally, people know me as DA3RD. I grew up playing drums from age 3 in the California Bay Area, home to funksters Santana, Tower of Power, Journey and Doobie Brothers. As a drummer and SynClavier technician I've worked with numerous stars including Sting, Mary J Blige, Stevie Wonder and George Benson. Currently, I play for TotoEclipse. I look forward to lending my creativity to DEVOZION as a drummer and producer - ensuring my warm, authentic LA sound, ready to take DEVOZION to the next level!

Floyd Adams III aka DA3RD

My name is Kaspar. I am 62 years old and play bass, both electric and up-right. I play in various bands and keep a part time dayjob as a lawyer at KODA, working for the benefit of songwriters and right-holders in music works in general. When I was a young, semi-pro musician, I got to play with the great Floyd Adams III (DEVOZION's drummer), both in soul and gospel bands. I look forward to playing with the ambitious and soulful vocal collective, DEVOZION.

I am Tobias, a 24 year old, who is taking my masters in communication and performance design. I am interested in a broad range of cultural dimensions. Mostly and mainly I am passionate about music as an expression, the way music is a performance and the way music communicates and effects people. I spend my time on my studies and my part time job at Bolia. My role in DEVOZION is to brand the vocal collective, network for them and secure jobs.

Hi I am Jnr Robinson, a gospel, blues, soul and jazz soloist. I have appeared on TV, radio and performed in a musical alongside music greats; Chaka Khan, Deniece Williams and Mica Paris, and have performed before Pope John Paul and Pope Francesco at the Vatican. I am both a vocal and choir coach and am active teaching in countries such as Italy, France and Poland. DEVOZION is a wonderful opportunity to be part of a selected group of vocalists. There’s greater attention to music and vocal creativity, as well as, being able to create and perform original music.

My name is Hanne. I am a low alto and female tenor. I am passionate about a Capella and vocal music and have been singing for most of my adult life. I love being in the middle of a spicy chord. I have been part of the vocal collective DEVOZION from the beginning and enjoy the passion for singing, we all share.

Hi! My name is Albert Raymond Campos. Born and raised in Los Angeles I grew up singing gospel music in church with my uncle, Andraé Crouch. So I've been affiliated with gospel music, since I was a child and play piano, trombone and sing. I've lived in Denmark since the 1990s with my danish wife, kone Lone and have been a part of the gospel community in Denmark since then. I've known and worked with Charlotte Roel and her husband Floyd Adams III for a very long time and am proud to play piano with her once again. I'm very proud to be part of DEVOZION and look forward to sharing my music, my American spirit and soul to add to this already soulful and blessed group of singers and musicians.

I started doing piano covers on my Youtube channel "THEAlexPKeaton" in 2008 for fun and has since developed my piano playing steadily. I've had the pleasure of working/playing with different singers such as: Kristel Lisberg (FO), Marie-Louise Olson (DK), Alice Stehlickova (CZ) among others. Right now I'm looking forward to exploring and accompanying the talented and promising vocal collective, DEVOZION.

My name is Aminata, I am 22 years wise. I study service, hospitality and tourism, which has enriched my daily work with project management and as a property host. I joined DEVOZION with the hopes of improving my singing, but quickly found out that there’s more to it than just that. With singing we can uplift, motivate and encourage not only ourselves, but everyone around us. DEVOZION truly is a light that keeps shining, and I hope to share every beam.

I grew up with jazz music as my father was a professional musician. My heart beats for the rhythmical choral song combined with a theatrical performance and this is also where most of my experience as a singer is. In my spare time I enjoy doing work out, traveling, and attending sports and cultural events. When I joined DEVOZION I was so excited about the high quality and ambitions for this vocal collective. I really love to work with the highly skilled and heartwarming people, I have met here.

Hi, I am Mette. In my daily life I work as a teacher at a primary school teaching music, math, science and PE. I am also an IT supervisor. I enjoy singing almost everything, everywhere and all the time. I am quite new in DEVOZION and love the smoothness and level of accuracy that is prioritized at rehearsals. I also like rainy days, dad jokes, boardgames, books and fixing problems. And so much more...

Mette Karina Brandt

I love to travel, act and make music. At 21 years old, I am an avid executor, listener, and participant of music. Both my parents love of music definitely rubbed off on me. My dad's a professional drummer and producer and my mom is the founder and conductor of DEVOZION. I just had my debut as a solo vocalist at Copenhagen Fashion Week. I love experimenting with different genres and challenging my vocal capabilities. I am therefore glad to be sharing my love of music with other talented individuals in DEVOZION.

Music has always been my life. From a young age, I found that expressing myself and the way I felt the world around me through the power of my voice, gave me a sense of joy and peace. Our voice is our greatest instrument to catalyze our dreams into reality, a tool most of us utilize every day! It is a thrill getting to blend my voice with so many other talented singers. Art and music in its purest forms is our strongest connection to the universe and when we create we are reflecting the light God made within each of us onto the world. Our voice literally comes from inside of us so it, as a divine connection indeed. And many voices joined together is a force to be reckoned with! It is a true joy to be a part of DEVOZION.

I'm Lina, 42. As a teenager I sang in the local church choir and after moving to Copenhagen, in a local gospel choir and in a Bulgarian folk music choir. I love to sing in DEVOZION, because it is a more intimate setting than big choirs with deeper focus on the individual singer. Singing in a small group challenges everyone to put in their best effort. You must listen carefully and be good at harmonizing and blending. I also study to become a nurse and work part-time. I love traveling, meditating, watching movies, all year bathing and just enjoying life. Music is one of the most beautiful things, we have, and I love, how it can completely transform the atmosphere and mood in any setting.

Hi my name is Saranya, I am 25 years of age. I am currently studying to become a process technologist. In my free time I am part time working as a waitress at a restaurant and a bartender in a pub. Music has been a part of my life since I was a child, my family is very musical, with my father playing flamingo guitar. I have myself been singing in a choir from the age of 6, been a lead singer in a band and studied music in high school. Music makes me happy and is my way of expression.
